Who comes to Phoenix for Coaching?
Let me introduce you to 'Client Q'.
Client 'Q' was referred to me as part of the 'Employee Assistance Programme' of the company he worked for. 'Q' had been experiencing an increase in anxiety and low mood which was impacting his ability in work as well as his general wellbeing.
Through the 'EAP' the company approved 6 sessions for us to work together and for 'Q' to gain support.
'Q' wanted Coaching sessions to be able to talk through what was happening at work, as well as at home, and to be able to find some coping strategies that would help him to manage things both now and in the future.
Over the 6 sessions we spent time talking through everything that was going on, both at work and at home. We talked through what he was already doing that was working that he could do more of and where he needed different coping mechanisms in place.
We also talked through day to day routines. How he was taking care of himself each day. Mentally, physically and emotionally.
We reframed the challenges and explored opportunities and positives within everything that felt uncomfortable and negative.
We found strategies that worked for him both personally and professionally and ways to keep building on the positive changes.
'Q' was surprised at how much we covered in the 6 sessions, and how quickly the tools and strategies started to have an impact.
'Q' was able to see improvements at home and in work. Life and work not only felt better - other people could see the changes as well.
Many organisations are now offering coaching alongside counselling support as part of their Employee Assistance Programmes.
Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to get to. This is an ideal support system for those in any workplace or organisation to help them to move forward with a challenge they are facing.

Coaching can support staff to overcome challenges that they face. Happy and fulfilled staff are thriving and productive staff who want to deliver. Coaching provides a safe space for them to explore ways to move forward with support and guidance.
Wellbeing is a golden thread in all coaching sessions and therefore coaching support can help as an early intervention, reducing stress, overwhelm and inner conflict that can often impact performance and overall mental and emotional wellbeing. Creating a culture where individuals are empowered and supported
